Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village has 37 self-contained cottages in secluded bush settings, in Cradle Valley. It’s just 500 metres from the edge of the World Heritage Area.
Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village offers a variety of self contained accommodation, from studio-style, through two-bedroom villas to premium one and two-bedroom spa cottages.
The cottages are located in small clusters with private decks looking out over beautiful natural bushland. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, lounge, bathroom, free satellite television, modem connection and direct dial telephones, and electric or gas heating. Other facilities include guest laundry, barbecue area and a play area for children.
There is also a central guest lounge which has views of Cradle Mountain, where you can sit by the fire, linger over a glass of wine, or curl up with a book.
Cradle Valley is known for its great walking trails and unspoiled wilderness, and wildlife is easy to spot - wallabies, wombats, pademelons or possums are often right outside your cabin.
Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is just over one hour’s drive from Burnie or Devonport, 60 to 90 minutes from Zeehan, Queenstown and Strahan, two hours from Launceston and four hours from Hobart.
