Itinerary:
Flight Option 1 - 30 Minutes
Depart from the Tall Timbers grounds and over-fly the Smithton township and the Dick River estuary, onto Robbins Island and the spectacular Robbins passage, then onto the Woolnorth & Studland Bay Windfarms and the historic Woolnorth VDL property. Turn southwest at Cape Grim and take in the north western coast line on return to Tall Timbers.
Flight Option 2 - 80 Minutes
Depart from the Tall Timbers property and over-fly the farmland area of South Forest, Mengha, Nabageena and Trowutta then on to the stunning South Arthur Forest and the 'Edge of the Tarkine Wilderness' heading southwest toward Mt Butler and finally the awesome seascape of Sandy Cape and the wild Tasmanian West Coast. Heading north west now the aircraft will take you at a breathtaking height above the deserted beaches of Kenneth Bay, Hazard Bay, Couta Rocks, past the mouth of the Arthur River and the Edge of the World, northwest to Bluff Hill Point, Mt Cameron, the Studland Bay and Woolnorth Windfarm and then onto Cape Grim. Heading South East now we cross the spectacular coastline of Woolnorth point, and over-fly the Walker Channel and Robbins and Walker Island. Down through the stunning Robbins passage and back over the Duck Bay to the Tall Timbers property.
