A fully guided half-day cruise from Hobart’s magnificent harbour, through breathtaking sheltered southern waterways. The high-speed luxury catamaran is the gateway to miles of secluded bays, tranquil seaside towns, dramatic coastline and deeply forested hills. Relax as friendly guides share some of nature’s secrets and Tasmania’s rich colonial and maritime history.
Discover sea life and giant kelp forests from exclusive underwater cameras, viewed on flat-screen monitors throughout the vessel. Also viewed via the onboard monitors is exclusive footage of the shipwreck, deep below the Tasman Bridge.
Get up close and personal to the rare and majestic sea eagles, which nest on the cliff faces. You may also see seals, dolphins, even migrating whales (in season). Visit an Atlantic salmon farm where our guides will explain the incredible process that delivers some of the finest salmon to the tables of the world.
Step ashore at Peppermint Bay, a breathtaking waters-edge destination that enjoys unsurpassed views of the D’entrecasteaux Channel and the lush rolling hills of the Huon region. Browse in the local galleries or shop for local fare and produce in the Providore.
